Purpose:

Serve as forum for discussion of research efforts and development of oral communication skills.

Goals:

This course will serve as a forum for students and faculty to discuss their current and ongoing research efforts. The class will consist of 30-50 minute lectures delivered by graduate students, faculty, and guests. Specific goals include:

• To develop oral communications skills (listening and presentation).
• To acquaint students with research carried out in our department.
• To serve as discussion forum for research and other topics of interest to the graduate student community.

Specific Topics:

Through presentations, this course should cover all areas of chemical engineering relevant to the research carried out in our department.
